Cancellation Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel this distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and related Irish rules on distance and off-premises contracts.

2. Immediate Service Request

When you submit your vehicle and request immediate listing, you ask us to begin providing the Sell My Car service before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.

If you cancel after the service has begun, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already provided up to the time you notify us of cancellation. If the service has been fully performed before you cancel, and you previously acknowledged that you would lose your cancellation right once fully performed, you may lose your right to cancel.

For this service, full performance occurs when the auction closes and the results are delivered to you.

3. If you receive no offers

You are not charged the listing fee if no dealer submits a bid within 7 days. For card payments we place a temporary authorisation (hold) at checkout and only capture it once you receive your first offer; if none arrives, the hold is released and no charge is taken. For payment methods that must be charged upfront, the fee is refunded automatically instead. If one or more bids are received and the auction results are delivered to you, the fee is charged and is non-refundable unless we are required to provide a refund under applicable law. Any refund is issued within 5 to 10 business days to the original payment method; released authorisation holds typically clear within a few business days.
